We are Jennifer and Lucie, higher-ed insiders with over a decade of experience teaching college courses. We have worked in admissions, advised students on their academic paths, and edited countless college, internship, and job applications. Our goal is to demystify the college landscape and address the challenges and barriers that students face as they transition to college life. BKT students learn efficient time management and organizational skills that carry them through high school, college, and beyond. They become empowered decision-makers with strong applications to their top-choice schools.

BKT College Prep

This is a pre-college program for high school students in any grade looking to grow their communications and leadership skills ahead of applying to college. Through a combination of mentorship, writing exercises, and independent projects, students grow into compelling applicants. They discover areas of academic interest, explore new hobbies, grow their community impact, and learn how to articulate their values. By working with us, you will become the well-rounded applicant that colleges look for.

BKT Roadmap to College

This is a 6-month college application program for juniors. We break down the research and application work into manageable bites and keep students on track. It’s designed to take you through the college process from making a list to hitting “submit.”

BKT Summer Intensive

Join us in the summer before your senior year for your personalized essay-writing bootcamp. In just one week, you’ll get a head start on your application materials. You will walk away with a great draft of your Personal Statement (or equivalent), a college-ready resumé, and new interview skills.
