Our core values

Equity

BKT Education is committed to providing quality and affordable education. We believe that classrooms and curricula should represent a multiplicity of backgrounds, voices, and perspectives. We want our students to think of themselves in relation to the world around them, connecting ideas to actions.

Interstitial Learning

Becoming independent learners and well-rounded critical thinkers has never been more important. At BKT, we give students the individualized attention and resources that they don’t always receive in larger, traditional classrooms or during times of transition like moving from high school to college, international transfers, and gap years. We invite students to experiment creatively as thinkers, writers, leaders, and collaborators by helping them discover the strategies and skills they need to succeed at school and beyond.

Digital Literacy

Our programs help students develop their digital savvy and media literacy. While online platforms unlock new possibilities, we also know that many parents worry about their children’s screen time. To address this, we teach students to use digital tools efficiently so they develop healthy study habits and avoid burnout.

Interactivity

The most exciting thing about learning is watching your world expand. This happens most effectively when we engage with different people, unfamiliar viewpoints, and new ideas. In our programs, we prioritize interactivity, collaboration, and differentiated learning.

A Space to Grow

A supportive learning environment stimulates academic growth. BKT creates a low-stakes, high-gain environment, designed to help students thrive. We help them unlock their potential by building on their strengths, so they will meet new challenges with confidence.
